Luxury isn't a matter of more, but of better. In a luxury hamper, you should be able to explain why each product is special.

Watch the balance

Luxury hampers can quickly become too sweet or too alcoholic. Always keep one savoury and one alcohol-free element in there.

Tip: luxury is provenance, not gloss

Gold foil and a heavy box don't make a luxury hamper. What does feel luxurious: products whose maker you can name, small production runs, and packaging that's clean and calm. One bottle from an Alkmaar distillery with its story beats a box full of shiny unbranded items.

Tip: raise the price per item, not the item count

Four items at €15 feels more luxurious than twelve at €5. At higher budgets that's even truer: above €75 people expect one clear standout product they wouldn't normally buy themselves.

Tip: invest in the invisible

• Filling and inner structure that holds products neatly in place.
• A thicker card with proper typography.
• A sleeve with blind deboss instead of full colour.
• A bag or box that can be reused.

Tip: one luxury hamper per relation beats ten standard ones

For client relationships: better to give twenty relations something impressive than two hundred something forgettable. Make a short list of the relationships you genuinely want to grow next year and spend your budget there.
